Nakko, creator of the very successful mobile content site Nakko.com, has designed, built and manages a new mobile portal for dutch operator Telfort. Telfort clients will thus be able to access a variety of informational services and exclusive content, through a new mobile platform wap.telfort.nl.

Telfort’s Rogier Brouwer calls the creation of this new portal a logical next step. Clients don’t want to pay for a mobile starting page, but they do want easy access to the latest news, weather and traffic information. Hundreds of thousands of visitors per month, with among them large numbers of clients of different operators, make the site a spectacular success.

According to Len Clabbers of Nakko, the cooperation with Telfort offers Nakko a greatopportunity to show how entertaining the mobile internet can be. The redesign of thestarting page offers maximum comfort and ease for the mobile user. Apart from thestandard features of a starting page, Nakko has added a number of unique optionsspecifically tailored for the Telfort users. Visitors of the new starting page will soon beable to see immediately what their latest scraps are on Hyves (Holland’s largest socialcommunity) or they can scan the headers of their Gmail. In the near future Nakko willadd many more innovative services to what the new starting page already offers.
